Integrated Model of Integrative Medical Revision and Correction Program

We in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania are proud to be teaming up with Doctor Huggins to offer you a program to get you feeling better as quickly as possible that can't be found any other place in the United States. Mercury toxicity is a multi system disorder that has the greatest possibility of correction when a multi disciplinary approach is utilized instead of a reliance on any one modality or perspective. In fact, it could probably be said, that each modality that is added to a patients management portfolio brings their toxicity issue in to a clearer focus than would have been possible without it. In the process another portal of intervention is created to correct the toxicity problems that have resulted. The Pittsburgh staff in concert with Dr. Huggins and the dental team are at your disposal to make a powerful contribution to your health and will maximize the potential benefit to you. Unlike what you may have become accustomed with your medical intervention at home you will find objective, quantifiable evidence of your mercury induced medical status. Once it is fully established as to what the problems are, a comprehensive treatment regimen will be constructed for you to follow.

The patients who come to Pittsburgh are unique in many ways. Given their individual uniqueness however there is a common thread that appears to unite each and every one of them. To the person, it is glaringly obvious that each of you on your own made the conclusion long ago that mercury exposure has led you to your current medical conditions. You arrived at this conclusion exclusively by yourself more than likely fighting with your local medical and dental professionals who just could not understand how mercury amalgam and concomitant dental issues could be the cause of your current medical condition. Rather than being compliant and docile you decided to take matters into your own hands. You read books on the subject, newspaper and magazine articles were also gleaned for additional information. The internet was also a valuable tool in your hands. No matter what other preliminary sources of information were called upon by you in the end Dr. Hal Huggins was the ultimate source of the information you were seeking which was "what can I do about it?" When it came to that final question the answer was now clearly before you and you are considering the next logical step in your journey, to wellness.

Having the opportunity myself to participate in the "Huggins Protocol" at other sites has given me additional perspectives than would have otherwise not been possible. Dr. Huggins' rigid dental criteria will finally correct and eliminate all sources of further toxicity. At completion, this step alone has an observable and immediate potential to allow you to begin to feel better. The remaining nine days enables you to assume the controls that will be required to continue your improvements for the rest of your life. This, of course, is achievable through his trademark utilization of the "blood chemistry" which provides you with a practical guide to maintain a steady course along the wellness pathway through adjustments that you will make in your diet and supplementation. At the completion of the protocol you will return to your home with the ability to take care of yourself and pull upon the appropriate resources made available to you only as needed.

It is with this in mind that we at the Pittsburgh staff will be able to strengthen your ability to take care of your medical situation to an even greater degree than has been previously possible. We will be able to teach both your and your care?giver additional modalities to monitor and correct your medical status that will improve your ability to make the necessary medical corrections without the reliance or support from your own medical resources at home. Even if your doctors are sympathetic and are willing to help it is an unfortunate reality that their training does not give them the understanding of the mercury issue to be of much benefit to you. An even more important point should be made which is that due to your heightened sensitivity to mercury the tools available to your physician have a greater potential to harm rather than help you. In my own personal situation I can tell you that everything I would have done to help a mercury toxic patient prior to having met Dr. Huggins would more than likely been injurious to a mercury sensitive patient such as you. The real lesson to me as well as you is that you will be the person to get you better. It really won't matter whether you return home to a hostile or helpful medical environment. You can and will be empowered with the tools that you require to carry out the task of improving your quality of life from now and into the future.

Respectfully,

Dennis J. Courtney, M.D.

When the mercury story gets told accurately it usually motivates individuals to act rapidly to resolve the problem. This is especially true when they are ill and have not been able to get a plausible explanation for their affliction by medial personal with whom they have consulted. In fact, it has been said that putting he word "unexplained" in front of just about any symptom that can be experienced should alert that person to the fact that mercury sensitivity should at least be considered as a source of the problem. Things like unexplained fatigue, unexplained weakness, unexplained hypersensitivity to materials that they come into contact with on a daily basis, constant unexplained infections are often related to a mercury toxic patient. Although this heightened awareness concerning mercury is good, it does put these same individuals in a vulnerable position with respect to resolving the problem. The following suggestions should be helpful to them:
  • Do not become discouraged or thwarted if your own dentist does not agree with you that amalgam fillings are unhealthy. If you think about it they're more than likely responsible for placing them in your mouth to begin with. It will be very difficult for them to reconcile that fact if you now feel that the fillings are causing you health problems.

  • Also with respect to your dentist remember that they have been taught that mercury fillings are safe. They continue to be advised by the ADA that the amalgam fillings are safe. They are good people who have done everything just as they have been taught for both you and the rest of your family. They have relied upon the knowledge from what they believe to be accurate information even if you and I know that the information is flawed.

  • If your dentist wants to respect your wishes and tells you he will remove the amalgam fillings you may now be in double trouble. The safeguards that are required to remove mercury fillings are highly specific. Without the specific training your dentists best efforts to remove the fillings will further expose you to significant additional risk from excessive mercury exposure during the removal process.

  • Identify a local dentist who practices mercury free dentistry or contact our center to explore getting the job done by dentists that have the necessary training to do so.

  • For your protection during the amalgam removal process a specially trained Dentist will always use the following:
    1. Sequential removal of amalgam based ion electrical readings (highest negative to highest positive).
    2. Rubber dams
    3. Faraday electrical cage
    4. Negative ion generators
    5. Selected replacement materials based on YOUR compatibility
    6. Never cross the midline during any 1 non-anesthetic session
    7. No more than 2 hours of work during any 1 non-anesthetic session
    8. And many more...

If you are ill and believe that mercury amalgam "silver fillings" could be responsible, you MUST have the work done by dental personnel equipped to meet your special needs.
