If
you are considering that mercury sensitivity and associated dental
toxicity may be a factor in your personal medical situation, you
may already know that there is one way to resolve the issue
definitively. Dr. Hal Huggins was the first to make the connection
between mercury silver amalgams and serious medical degenerative
disease. He made that discovery back in 1973 and has since dedicated
his career to improving the lives of these individuals. His method
for accomplishing this has been refined over the last 30 Years but
you may know it by its more descriptive name of "THE HUGGINS
PROTOCOL". This highly specific and detailed process involving
a blend of multiple specialties including dentistry, medicine, anesthesiology,
blood chemistry and many other components has been available only
outside of the United States, in such places as Puerta Vallarta,
Mexico and Montreal, Canada. However, it is now available in the
United States, in Pittsburgh, PA at our facility called "The
Huggins Certified Center".
The
Center is dedicated to those individuals who have identified the health
hazards associated with conventional Dental restorations and have made
the decision to correct those hazards in an environment commensurate
with what has been determined to be safe and effective to resolve these
issues. The Center follows a medical model and is under the direction
of Dennis J. Courtney M.D. The dental revision division operating within
the model follows the provisions of what has become known as the "Huggins
Protocol". By virtue of his more than 30 years of dedication to
the role that dentistry plays in overall health Dr. Huggins has devised
an elaborate system which allows individuals to rectify their dental
issues in an atmosphere of safety with a high degree of success with
respect to return to health in those who are afflicted as a result of
conventional dental treatment.
The Center recognizes the contribution of many courageous and honorable
practitioners that have followed Dr. Huggins protocol in an office setting
with a high degree of efficacy. The Pittsburgh Center has dedicated
the resources, equipment, and personnel to allow for the entire Huggins
Protocol to be accomplished in a 10 day setting. This is possible due
in large part to the modifications made in the dental revision portion
of the protocol. Each of our dental rooms is essentially a mini-operating
room. Besides the components that you would ordinarily expect to find
in any dentists office each is equipped with a complete anesthesia suite
in compliance with hospital standards and supervised by a licensed anesthesiologist.
In exceeding the standard of in office dental anesthesia our patients
can expect that all of their revisions can be done safely in a one day
format with all dental matters resolved on that day and made possible
through the use of IV concious sedation. The remaining 9 days is filled
with both diagnostic and treatment activities to allow you to maximize
a rapid improvement response seen normally in those who have an abrupt
alleviation of their toxic burden. Dr. Huggins himself is on site during
these additional days of the program in an advisory capacity to both
the staff and the patients to assure that his protocol is being followed
as it was intended to be followed.
In knowing that you will more than likely be returning to a more hostile
medical and dental community than you will find here it is our intention
to educate you to take care of yourself in very sophisticated ways.
The use of the standard blood chemistries that you normally get done
at your doctors office will take a new meaning to you after your visit
with us and provided you with a monitoring system to insure your continued
advancement toward health. There will be additional means for our staff
to chart your progress and make necessary corrections in your treatment
program that can be accomplished while your back at home. The Huggins
Center awaits your welcomed inquiries. We hope to see you soon in Pittsburgh.
Respectfully,
Dennis J. Courtney
Director of the Huggins Certified Center
